Though I completed the Camino some six months ago, the community that was born along the way still lives. Just this morning I received from Korean artist Sue (ooosulga.com) a film she made along they journey. In “Sarang Ham Mi Da,” which is a formal way to say “I love you” in Korean, many familiar faces attempt to say this unfamiliar sounding phrase.
You might recognize Kasper, the Danish national hockey player I walked with from Roncesvalles, or Tammy, the Australian I stood in line with in St. Jean.
Sue began filming in Estella, the place we parted, and so I unfortunately do not make a cameo.
