About

Jonathan Simcosky is a book editor and community builder interested in inspiring mission-driven, creative gatherings. As an award-winning acquiring editor of food and craft, he works with internationally recognized makers and creators to craft visually stunning, commercially viable illustrated reference books in subjects as diverse as New World sourdough and modern paper quilling. He’s organized pop-up picnics for hundreds, facilitated intimate inter-faith Death Dinners and founded a monthly underground cocktail club described by Northshore Magazine as a “list you want to be on.” An eager traveler, he’s walked the ancient Way of St. James, El Camino de Santiago, traveled across Asia aboard the trans-Mongolian railway, and learned to make artisan goat cheese on a biodynamic farm in rural Poland. In March 2020 he was selected to be an inaugural Abrahamic House Fellow, launching the first ever national, multi-faith incubator for social change, based in Los Angeles, Ca.
